JOSEPH Watson, son of William Alfred served in WW2 and was killed in action in Egypt in 1944. His son JOE Jr was evacuated from Gateshead during the war and came to stay in Barnard Castle with my grandparents Arthur Alfred Watson and Maisie (nee Fenton). Joe Jr joined the RAF in 1956. I believe he had two brothers Arthur and Jim
