Trying to find Hall

I am trying to find information on my Hall ancestors. William Hall (b 1820 Saddleworth) married Sarah Rhodes (b 1824 Saddleworth) in 1843 at St. Michael's Church, Mottram-In-Longendale. Both their fathers were called John. If anyone has any info on John Rhodes, please contact me. John Hall married Sarah Buckley in Saddleworth on 7 February 1820. There were no ages on the Church Record, so this is where my problem starts. When I tried finding the christening date of John Hall, I found two Johns, one born in 1797 and one in 1802, I don't know which was it is, and so I have two sets of parents to choose from. Does anyone know how I can find out which is my John? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Susan |
