I'm trying to find any information on my late fathers half sister. He was born 08/01/1913 in Perth Scotland to James Meston Brown and Jane Julia Christie who married in Perth in 1911. Now here's the puzzle! Was it my grandad or my grandmother who had a daughter before they met and married? If my grandad then the child may not have been registered in his name and if my grandmother then would she register the child in her name only? Don't have a clue where to go from here so if anyone can help I would be really gratefull as this has been a family mystery I really need to solve. |
