Trying to find out more info on Thomas Turner, born abt 1827 in Dunstall, Staffs. There are no Turners listed in Dunstall in the 1841 census. Married Rose Julia Crompton in June 1848 in Selby. In 1851 they were living with her parents in 71 Low Street, Carlton. They are not listed in Carlton in the 1861 census. His occupation is given as Land Agent in the 1881 census. Their children: Agnes Mary Rose Turner, born 1856 in Carlton, Yorks (early 1870s in Aberystwyth, 1878 living in Llanelli, 1881 in Aberystwyth) Thomas Gilbert Turner, b 1848 in Snaith (1881 in Hook, yorks) Frederick Henry Turner, b 1852 in Snaith (1881 in Hulme, Lancs). If anyone can be of any help, or if any names ring a bell, drop me a line. Thanks |
