My grandmother Mabel Ellen Jane Parr was the daughter of James Mitchell (b.1851, Southhampton) and Harriot (nee Box) b. 1860 Cuckfield). As well as my grandmother James & Harriot Mithchell had 4 other children all born in Leytonstone (East London): James Mitchell b. 1888 Joseph Mitchell b.1891 Gladys Mitchell b. 1894 Lily Mitchell b. 1897 I would be interested in tracing decendants of any of the above up to the present day. I vaguely remember as a young boy (over 50 years ago) going to south London (possibly Catford) to visit cousins of my mother. |
