James Report 11 Aug 2003 20:31

I am trying to find any relations who belong to my family tree. My grandfather was Herbert Wood born 7/6/1887 died 1952 Glossop Married to Jessie Barlow in Jan 1912 his siblings were :- Thomas Wood born 1890 died 1924 (1/5 kent reg) Joseph Wood born 1883(nothing known) James Wood born 1895 died in accident during Royal Naval service in 1913 in scotland Albert Wood born 1899 (1/2 cheshire reg) (12 manchester reg) Martha Wood born 1891 (nothing known) Elsie Wood born 1887 (nothing known) Mary Wood born 1885 (nothing known) Lily Wood born 1888 (nothing known) Elizabeth Wood born 1901 died 1923 married to Percival Braddock (Barnsley) I have 4x service records but no idea of any family members from his brothers & Sisters. Joseph or Albert had a leg removed during WW1. I am led to believe they remained in Glossop after the war. If anyone has any information about the family i would be interested to hear from them. My mother Herberts daughter is the last of the generation but sadly passed away in dec 2005 Some of the family who are decendants of Herbert still live in Glossop but do not know of any distant relatives Any help greatfully recieved Jim
