MARY MYFANWY ROBERTS OF FLINT I'm trying to find any relatives of Mary Myfanwy Roberts (my paternal Grandmother). She was born in the Flint area (probably Flint itself) approx 1880 and worked as a maid in a large house where she met and married my Grandfather John Joseph Austin of Chester, he was then a groomsman, his later occupation was a policeman. They settled in Liverpool and had a large family, Richard, Frederick(Joe), Myfanwy, May, Edith, Cyril, James (my Dad), Norman and Thomas. Edith died in a cycling accident when she was in her late teens. I visited relatives in Flint many years ago but unfortunately the small cottages they lived in have now been demolished. I have since been told that they were near the 'top road'. If any of this sounds familar please get in touch. |
