James YOUNG born. c1810/1814 in Lancaster - Trade Tanner of Leather His wife was Elizabeth born. 1824 died. 21 April 1872 His children: James YOUNG born. 1846 in South Manchester - Trade Tanner of Leather William YOUNG born. 1850 in South Manchester - Trade Tanner of Leather Jane YOUNG born. 1858 in South Manchester - Trade Servant David B. YOUNG born. 1842 - we have not positively confirmed this person in the family yet. James Young born. 1846 married Elizabeth Ann WHITWHAM born. 1850, they had the following children, those that survived are as follows: Alice YOUNG born. 1872 John Arthur YOUNG born. 1882 James Walter YOUNG born. 1884 Nina Dorothy Whitwham YOUNG born. 1886 Edward YOUNG born. 1889 Childen and year they died: Walter 1877 age 7 or 8 John Edgar 1879 age 5 months James Walter 1883 age 6 Harold 1892 age (baby) *** William YOUNG was married to Alice ? and they had the following children: Edward YOUNG born. 1873 Minnie YOUNG born. 1878 James YOUNG born. 1879 Mary YOUNG born. 1880 Elizabeth YOUNG born. 1881 Amy YOUNG born. 1882 Violet YOUNG born. 1886 Alice YOUNG born. 1889 John Squire YOUNG born. 1890 Wilson YOUNG born. 1892 *** James YOUNG born. 1846 owned a Tannery business in Dobcross, Saddleworth, West Riding of Yorkshire in the late 1800's and early 1900's though the business started in Manchester at Arkwright Mill, Miller Street, Manchester *** DEATHS Elizabeth Ann YOUNG nee WHITWHAM died in 1894 aged 44 her parents were William WHITWHAM and Hannah WHITWHAM nee Bradbury (William and Hannah WHITWHAM married in 1849). MARRIAGES John Arthur YOUNG born. 1882 married Florence TAYLOR in 1907 at Saddleworth Church(Florence's parents were Ogden TAYLOR and Jane TAYLOR nee BARKER nee WIDD) James Walter YOUNG born. 1884 married married Hannah Sophia BRADBURY in 1909 at Saddleworth Church (Hannah's father was James BRADBURY a Book Keeper from Uppermill, Saddleworth) If you are related to any of the above please contact me.
