Any information on Thomas Willam Cox, born 1876 died 1928 aged 52. married Harriet Allen and had 6 children: Jane, Harriet(cissy), Thomas William, George, James & Maude. Thomas William 1st was a brass moulder, he had a wooden leg which, so the story goes, he lost his leg in a tram accident. My dad was only 9 years old when he died and would like to know more about him and his family. They lived in the parish of St Lukes in the City of London at 2 bartholomew Square. He also remembers being told that his forefathers once owned the land that Liverpool Street Station is built on. It was reportedly of little value then and sold. |
