Hi, I'm trying to trace any Davis' from the Bristol area.My Great-Grandfather was called John Davis, he was married to Ann, they had 4 children Edith(that was 12 in 1901) William(who was 7)Elsie(who was 6)and my Grandfather Edward who was 3 years old in 1901. I know my G-Grandfather was a "house painter" or his business was to do with that. They had a servant by the name of Maria Jenkins who was 20 in 1901 who lived with them. If any of these names ring a bell with you Please Please get in touch.My Grandfather married my Granmother who was called Ivy Roberts also from the Bristol area. |
