My step Mother's family tree was researched in the late 1970s to early 1980s and I think I hold the only copy of this research in the UK. I would be happy to share it with anyone who can assist me in taking it back further or follow the generations that remained in the UK. It traces a branch of the Parker family descended from John Parker Bapt 1734 Portesham, Dorset Occ Shoemaker. It follows the name John Parker Bapt 1761 Portesham Occ Mariner then Coal Porter, John Parker Bapt 1785 It was one of his sons, George Bapt 1825 Melcombe Regis, who emigrated to Australia and married in Melbourne. George's siblings, all born in Melcombe Regis were: Sarah bapt 1815, James b 1818 bapt 1820, William b1820, Richard bapt 1822, Charles bapt 1831, Thomas Bapt 1831.
