my grandmothers maiden name was Frances Lousie Lewis born 29 june 1888 in kingsholm gloucester married charles dowell in rissalpur in 1917 although i have the marriage certificate it doesnt have fathers name, she was married in a military base. and all the searches i have done come up blank as to any family prior to her any help would be appreciated thanks sandra Have now received her birth certificate but it doesnt help no father! mother Mary Elizabeth lewis of barton st mary, but certificate says frances was born in workhouse so if anyone out there has any info please call thanks sandra |
