Member Since: December 2002 Posts: 10 Send Message	I am compiling the family tree of the Wood family of Alveley, Shropshire and Oldbury, Worcs. William Wood (c. 1832-1898), a descendant of William Wood and Hannah Rogers (m. Alveley 1759) left Alveley and became a cordwainer in Oldbury. He married Matilda Wright (b. 1845 West Bromwich) in 1864 and their children were: William, Frederick, Sarah Anne, Mary, Lucy, Francis Xavier,Agnes Teresa, Ann, Thomas, Beatrice, and John b. 1881. Any information gratefully received.
