I am trying to locate family of Frederick Taylor born c 1877. His father was Joseph Taylor of Levenshulme who was dead by 1913. Fred had a son with my grandmother Muriel Gorham nee Raker, born in October 1913. Fred never lived to see his son Stuart Taylor as he died in Africa in July 1913. ---Or at least that is what we have always believed. have recently been told that Fred may infact have 'done a runner' and gone off to America. Possibly settling in Oregan with a new wife and family. Othe possiblity is that he is buried at a St James church somewhere on the East Coast of uk. He may have been in the army and served under kitchener in the boer war. Does any of this ring any bells? I f so please get in touch! |
