Trying to find Lewis

I am trying to find my paternal grandfather, my father was born in Monmouth in 1917 . His mother was Annie Mira Lewis who worked as a charwoman, she had my father adopted when he was only a few months old, and he never saw her again and never knew who his father was as it was not stated on his birth certificate. H e was brought up with his adoptive parents surname Clayton. He had a brother called James Lewis who his mother brought up herself in Monmouth, although she never married. I would love to find out who my grandfather was he obviously came from the Monmouth area. Anyone out there with any information? Contact me on [email protected] |
