My Great Grandmother was Annie Maria Wood. She was born in Antigua, BWI in 1869. She came to the US when she was 16. I am trying to find more info about her family. She told of when she was born, she only weighed 1# and slept in a shoe box. She came to the US on a Clipper Ship. She also told me her father was Frederick K Wood, and the son of an Earl of England. Her mother was Sophia Ladley Wood. I have been trying for years to find information about her father & mother. I am now a Great Grandmother, and all are gone that I could ask.
