Hiya, trying to find information on my Great, Great Grandad's parents,my Great Grandad's name was William Henry Bell, born 1886 at Barrow (Dalton)-in-Furness, Lancashire(as it was then),His parents were called Ellen (1853) and William (1852),and his father's mother was called Jane Bell (1814), from Liverpool, however her husband was dead by the time of the 1881 census, so I am stuck. William Henry (1886) later moved to Middlesbrough, he married my Great Grandmother Anastasia Burdett who was from New Marske, Yorkshire,at Guisborough in 1911, they lived at South Bank, M'bro, he was in the 4th Battalion, Green Howards Yorkshire regiment and was killed on Nov 1st, 1917 at Flanders, Belgium, they had a daughter Olive Bell ( my Grandmother ).Any help on this would be appreciated. |
