If any of you people are reading -- you all need to start your own threads with your queries, giving *all* the information you have, and someone may be able to help you! Very few people are likely to see any of the posts in this thread otherwise.

This thread was started by someone in 2003 who may not be a member of GR anymore, and at a time when it was not even possible for people to reply to posts on the surname boards -- so it is unlikely she has any clue that anyone has replied to her post.

i am a Wright and mosr of my family so far have stayed round lancashie area.

I have grandfather SArthur boirn in Stockport in 1913, married a Mary Elizabeth bailey and his father was a William Wright born around 1873 in Stockport and hemarried a bertha banks.

Do any match up with yours?

Hi I am looking to trace my family tree back, my late grandmother was married Joyce Margaret Demain but her maiden name was Wright, she was born in 1922 in london and died 1980.

Hi I am Lesley Wright. My father was William born Preston 1934. His dad was Worrall, Born 1909 and married to Elizabeth Hardie in 1933 in Preston. Worrall was born in West Derby Liverpool.
His dad was Albert Edward Wright (Born c1873) he married Eliza Sergent in 1896 in Preston. His dad was William Wright. This is where my trail goes cold.

looking for details of a sarah wright possibly born 1878 whom married a thomas apsey son of samual apsey and mary fox leeds area.

I am looking for info on Hannah Elizabeth Wright b c1868 possibly Essex district. She married Richard John Deal (or Dale) b c1874 on 13 June 1897. I know certificate states April-June 1897=Rochford 4a 801 Essex. She was my greatgrandmother, and I would like to find something on her, as up to now I can't find anything. I have a Thomas Wright chr. 12 Aug.,1821 St. Saviour's Church, Ringley, Lancashire. Married Eleanor Crossley and had six children.
Thomas was a railway lab. then an Engineer (driver).
His father was James and his mother was Ann.
Is the above of interest? Mary
