BROWNS OF WEDNESBURY, WEST BROMWICH, BIRMINGHAM Seeking descendants of Samuel Jones Brown, iron works cashier, b 1861, and Andrew Brown, grocer's assistant, b 1964. Their father was Andrew Brown b 2 May 1822,Wednesbury, Staffs, a mill manager(metal)who m Catherine Jones of Bilston Staffs c 1860. The youngest son was Alfred John Brown, an iron merchant b 1866, my ggrandfather. The family appears in the West Bromwich 1881 census. Samuel also appears in the 1901 census. I have much family info to exchange. Please get in touch! |
