I just wanted to applaud your attempts to start a UK based genealogy site, its about time. However I do have a couple of issues 1) Could you restrict access to information living relatives, i.e Another well known genealogy website (www.rootsweb.com) allows you to say whether you want dates etc to be given out for living relatives or just a statement to say if you are interested contact me at_____________ . I have alot of information I have collected about my family and its collateral lines but I think that if I added the detailed information I have some of the living members of my family may get upset however they would be quite happy to just have their names online. 2) Could you add a facility for us to add important links for instance to rootsweb or cyndi's list or genuki, these are very important sites and those people whose curisosity is sparked will need access to this information. 3) The FAQS really really need to have some information about how to begin researching, the best places to look etc. There are plenty of people out on the net who have produced this sort of information and I am sure that they would be quite happy for you to contact them and make use of their information However you are to be applauded for attempting to redress the balance for UK information Regards Jo Corless http://www.dengold.freeserve.co.uk/familytree/genHome.htm
