Bungay St. Mary Suffolk I`m looking for the parents of Bayseler Ward born 1799 Bungay he married Elizabeth Rivett in 1825. I believe his father to be John but cannot prove it. They lived around the Butt Lane/Broad St area. Any help would be appreciated. Carolyn

Carolyn. I have only just seen this message. I am trying to do the exact same thing - find out more about Bayseler Ward. I seem to be at the same stage as you were here. I think his mother was called Ann.

Though I have no definite evidence, I am pretty certain that Bayse was my great-great-great grandfather. I am researching my part of the Ward clan, from Devon and Cornwall, but I live in Norwich so it was really weird to find relatives from East Anglia.

Am happy to compare notes with you about this research. It is fascinating stuff.
