Still looking, now have Edith Lucy's full death certf, which states she was born in London, age at death 73yrs which would put dob 1875 - Marriage certf states she was 28 in 1905 which puts dob as 1877 - lists father as John Baker of Independant means, Mother as Sarah Ann. Alas no full date of Birth and no one in the family can remember her birthday.

I'm Mrs Connie Baker. My late husband Paul Henry Baker used to tell me a lot about his family. Now I can see that this witness of John Carter Baker & Sarah, could be my mother-in -law Dorothy Mary Baker. But for short they use to call Doris May Baker or Dolly.
Even lot of does names are what my late husband used to tell me about them. Some of this names I'm thinking they will be his cousins. His dad Mr Harry Jack Baker used to owned a farm as well. So did his mother. I do have another Baker's name that he's the grand grand dad of my kids. His name is Henry.N. Baker.

But this names John, Ethel, Kate, Walter, Ann, Angelina, these are names that i heard before.

Edith's parent's were definately John Carter Baker & Sarah. Edith's marriage cert has a Dorothy Mary Baker as one of the witnesses.

Looking for information on John Carter Baker born around 1850 - 1860 he married a Sarah ? and they had a daughter Edith Lucy Baker c1877 who married in St Paul's Bournemouth, Christchurch in 1905 to Walter Frederick Whiting. John is noted as a farmer on Edith's Marriage cetf. Does anyone have them in their tree or come accross them in Census.

14/08/2008 - Parents listed as John Baker - Indpendent means and Sarah Ann on Edith's death certificate. Edith place of birth noted as London.
