Elizabeth Report 8 Sep 2006 17:28

Hi there Liz and Alicia =) I was wondering if you could do a bit of detective work for me. I have an old army book from my great grandfather John Tod (Only one D). I think he was born in 1882. I know he had a brother Alexander and a sister Isabelle or Isabella who lived in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland so I think he was also from there. We don't have any other information about him or who his parents might have been. All I know is that both his parents had died by 1901. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you x

Hi There Heather from sunny France, yes still sunny!!! I am mystified, cannot trace the family of James & Elizabeth Westworth on the 1851 Census on ancestry.com They had children of Ellen (1841); Thomas (1842); John (1839) and Ralph (1844/45) can you help or point me in the right direct as the family is there 1861 tho Ralph is out as a servant. Well and truly stumped to say the least. TTFN Heather

Okay, another query if I may, for a mysterious relative with an unusual name. Do you have anything anywhere for an Orange Moss? Born c. 1849, Beaumont, Essex. I haven't found any records yet for a birth, death, or marriage, and can only find her in two census returns. If there aren't too many of them, and it's not a pain to do, perhaps you could give me everything there is for any Orange, regardless of surname or location? I'm trying to resist bombarding you with queries... fortunately the people I'm really interested in are from Pembrokeshire! {grin} Thanks in advance, Andrew. UPDATE: Responded to off-board by Liz.
