This is great, a pattern is emerging, John (or Jonas, Lat. Johannes), James, Joseph and Titus (later Thomas) are consistent for several generations. Could anyone let me know details of Lightowler families in Halifax in 1841/51. I have the names Titus b 1760 (head) James, John, and Joseph are brothers but there was at least one other family with similar names and I think that the families could be related. By 1861 my family (James b 1795 head) was living Northowram, Halifax but I know that Titus lived earlier in Southowram Thanks Dave
