Hi Emily That was one of the reasons I had closed it at the end of page 9... I was'nt sure If I was still going to go..as I knew she was'nt going to make it through the weekend Durham Records Office Yes Just phone them up and book a half day .. full day... or Wednesday's only on an Evening.. It will be 3 weeks before I get back up there.. with the Easter Holidays for the next two weeks plus I have hubby off work on his hols.. Sorry to hear the news of your aunts death. Is it easy to book a day at Durham records as l haue a few peolpe i would like to trace. We liue in Weston but my mum and her family were born in Liuerpool and Sunderland and i haue a distant relation who liues there Doris . My mother passed away when i was 19 and my nan when l was 22 so i haue no family members to ask about our history. My mum was a Hetherinqton and her mother was a Elliott and her mother was a Qreenman. My qreat Qrandfather married a Wilkinson but l still can,t find were her oriqins are from. Thanks Sue Wish Friday was over with.. She was the last of the Aunts...so sad really.. but at least she will be out of pain..she has battled with Cancer for the last 14 years and has been so Jolly and has always made the most of her time..
