Find Ancestors

Hi after some help from fellow members on these boards I have managed to knock down a brick wall that has been standing for 5 years and I have found out that I do have a auntie that is alive still to this day, which has been brilliant news for me. Anyway I would like the to try and trace the following, I am doing a bit of research at my local my library when I can get down there. I need help with my grandparentsand lso aunts and uncles. I will put it down and hope someone might pick up on it. Great grandparents Albert Willingham born in bury st edmonds 1865/4 Caroline Willingham (nee Grimsdell or Grunsdell ) 1865/4 aparently these two were married in Burton on trent in 1882. I only know of 2 children that have appeared on records in my search so far and they are my grandma Rose Willingham dob 1885/4 in Bury St edmunds died 1973 in Burton and a George willingham born in 1890/1891. I have been told there were two other siblings for my grandma which were called Walter and Cissie, but I have no date of births for these. My grandma Rose had the following children but again no dates Rose was married to a Joseph Vincent Atkins and lived in Burton children names I am trying to find are Matgaret Atkins Lydia Atkins David Atkins Mary Atkins Frank atkins The other side of my family I will leave to later time thank you for reading this and all help will be glady appreciated.

Thanks for your help but I am a bit lost now , firstly is Caroline a Grimsdell or a Grimsdale , and who did her mother marry and please help. Is there any mention of a Walter Willingham? I think Walter had a son called David. Rose had several children as well with Joseph Vincent Atkins They were Margaret Lydia David and Mary I think they were twins Frank June and another set of twins that died at birth I think Thanks for your help people again you lovely people !

In those days, most people could not read or write, so Caroline's surname would probably have been written 'as heard'..........you have to allow considerable leeway for spelling. (Much the same as now). To verify any or all of the info posted, you need to back it up with the purchase of certificates. Reg

For births etc after 1910, the info is available online only on pay-to-view sites, unless the relevant county has a bmd site. I've given you as much info as I can.
