SHEILA SWANSON Hi Shelia This was a bit of a tough one!!! I first tried to find the children Jane and Robert. Nothing for Jane and this was the only one I could find for Robert. ROBERT MCKENZIE, ch 26 May 1850 Gorbals, Lanark, Father ROBERT MCKENZIE, Mother JANE LOGAN Then I tried to find any possible marriage for Robert and Jane and cam up with these 3 possiblies. ROBERT MCKENZIE married JANE LANG 22 Apr 1844, East Parish, Greenock, Renfrew ROBERT MCKENZIE married JANE NICOLSON DIPPIE 30 Jun 1843, St Cuthberts, Edinburgh ROBERT MCKENZIE married JANE LOGAN 6 Nov 1847, Mearns, Renfrew The I tried to find Robert's birth/christening and came back with loads of possiblies. Maybe you could see if someone here could do a look up on the 1851 census in Scotland for you to see if they could find this family, that might provide you with a bit more info, then I could try again to find them for you or figure out which ones are yours. Dawn :-)

I would be interested in if possible a lookup of marriage for James BEATTIE,dob 1843 +- born in Kirkbean,Kirkcudbright to William Beattie & Janet Agnes Callander.I have found his siblings but cannot find anything on him. There is a person listed in the 1851 census as Jane,(son of William)but this is impossible for the family, believe that this is a clerical & should be James. Thanks in Advance Ted

TRUDI GUAGLIARDO Hi Trudi The only marriage that I could find that might be a possible for Andrew and Margaret is this one, not sure if it's them or not. MARGARET RAMSAY married ANDREW GARDYNE, 3 Jun 1809, Saint Vigeans, Angus I used this marriage to search for children and came up with Peter who you already have and one other children. Andrew is listed as GARDINER on both children's info. ANDREW GARDINER, b 16 Aug 1822, Errol, Perth, Father ANDREW GARDINER, Mother MARGARET RAMSAY ANDREW GARDINER, ch 9 Aug 1822, Inchture, Perth, Father ANDREW GARDINER, Mother MARGARET RAMSAY I don't know it these two Andrew's are the same child and the dates have been listed wrong or that they are two different children but with both parent's names being the same and it's the same area!!!!! Sorry if I've only added to your searching more rather than reduced it. Hope you can make sense of it soon. Dawn :-)

JENNIFER OVEREND Hi Jennifer Can I just check the info you gave me for the look up because it doesn't make sense to me? Could be that it's Sunday morning!!!! You said that David was born in Apr 1845 and that Catherine was born around 1847 and that married in 1836!!! That means that they were married before they were born!!! Or is it just me and I've read it wrong. Please let me know then I'll get straight on with your search. Thanks Dawn :-)

CAROLINE DAVIES Hi Caroline I found Agnes' christening but no mother listed. I did find 7 siblings for her all born in Dornock, Dumfires, but again no mother listed. Also tried to find a marriage between John and mum but nothing came up. Also found 3 possible marriages for her siblings. There were lots of other marriages in that area, later and earlier that could be your relations too. All I could find for Agnes and William was their marriage, also found their son who I've included in case you didn't have his info. Did find another Blinkinship in the same area who might be a brother of William. Let me know what you think and if you'd like the other Weild marriages in that area, just in case. Dawn :-) JAMES WEILD, b 28 Jun 1789 MARION WEILD, b 3 Jul 1791 JANNET WEILD, b 7 Apr 1793 JEAN WEILD, ch 28 Apr 1795 (possible twin for Agnes ????) ISOBEL MCEWAN Hi Isobel All I could find for the children was the same info that you provided, all born in Eskdalemuir and no mother listed. Rosina was down as Rosy Hog, also no other children. The other children were listed as Hogg. Had better luck with the father, Richard. Found his christening, so his parents' names, their marriage and 4 siblings for him. Tried to find his parents birth/christenings but came back with lots of possibles. Not quite what you asked for but hope it helps. Let me know if I can help further. Hi Dawn If you are still doing lookups could you please look for a marriage for Andrew Gardiner and Margaret Ramsay around 1815-1825 in Perthshire Scotland. I have a son Peter Gardiner born to them in 1820 at Inchture, Errol. Was hoping I might find some more siblings as well. Many thanks in advance Trudi
