Tracy, just tried it again and it's come up different this time!?! I think the Claude William that is first on the list and fifth on the list is mine though as I'm pretty sure he did live in Kent later in life. (Just entered Clade William Hammond, 1901 and nothing else and that's what comes up) A very confused Pam.....

Then went into search for ancesters bit then scroled down to the place where you put either exact info or closest match. Entered him there and it came up with 2 matches! Dear Tracy, Please would you be so kind as to look up CLAUDE WILLIAM HAMMOND. He was born c1901 either in Ireland or in Devon. (son of Arthur Edward Hammond and Alice Maud Squire) I looked earlier and I believe 2 entries came up and only one of them was in the right date range. Claire, I can only help 1837 - 1920 with births, marriages and deaths. You would need to look in Parish registers to find information prior to Sept 1837 when Civil Registration was introduced.
