Harold Duckworth - Greenhalgh - 1901 Census

mmmmmmmmm it turns out that Harold was born out of wedlock. His name was Harold Duckworth b 03 October 1897 using his mothers name which was Margaret Duckworth. She ended up marrying a John Greenhalgh and took on his new fathers surname. So a search under Duckworth from little lever may yeild some results. BDM suggests that Margaret Ann Duckworth m John Greenhalgh Sep 1899. Still cant find Harolds birth date in BDM Oct 1887 either as Duckworth or Greenhalgh. Someone might do another search for me and see if a John Greenhalgh married to a Margaret Duckworth turns up in the 1901 census. with as son either H Duckworth or H Greenhalgh. They come from Litlle Lever near Bolton. Thanks Wayne in Australia |
