Find Ancestors

I need some help in finding things out, I can't find b.m.d. certificate details of my gg grandfather edwin benjamin Woodcock, he died in 1966 aged 76 and was a typefitter (whatever that is)! Also my gg grandmother edwins wife, was called edith Jane who died 18th MAY 1963 aged 72, her mother my ggg grandmother was called mary elizabeth lineker who died 8th November 1949 aged 75, but was known as gray and thats what was on her death register, but I can't find what my gg grandmothers fathers name was, so I don't know her maiden name which is really holding me up! They are all from Liverpool, so any help would be great!

Hi Found this info out, as Edith was born a Gray looks like Mary's maiden name is Lineker, found 2 entries on 1881 that might be her. Below is 1901 for Edwin and at the bottom is the marriage of Edwin and Edith, hope this helps. Michael , in 1901 census there is an Edwin Woodcock aged 12 born Sleacombe,Cheshire living West Derby District . There are other children born same place and adults Benjamin a Pearl Assurance Collector and Rachel a Beer Seller of the right ages . I do not have any credits so cannot investigate further for you.
