There is a marriage of Mary Anne Skeet to Abraham Abel on 23/7/1833 at St Benedict's. Could this be it?

You would have to purchase a copy of the marriage record from the Norfolk Records Office to know if she was widowed, witnesses names may give you a clue too!

Sorry, but I don't have any in those parishes at all. They must have come from elsewhere.

You mention she married twice, what names do you have (other than Mark Skeet) as her husband, I can search for him under all the Mary's.

The CD covers all marriages in Norfolk between 1801 & 1837, and 25 Suffolk parishes, they could have married in a different Suffolk parish not included in my CD.

I bought the CD from Norfolk Family History Society. Unfortunately, it is the only one they produce.

Karen

Do you have any parishes to check?

I have looked at Skeat/Skeet/Skeete/Skelt/Skate/Skete/Sketes/Skett

No Mark

Robert Skeet & Martha (Mary) Ram 1/12/1806 Wells

Thomas Skeet & Mary Bennett 1/12/1806 Saxlingham Nethergate (strange - same date)

William Skeet & Mary Ann George 22/12/1836 St Peter Mancroft

There are various Mary/Mary Anne (Skeet variants) closest to dates being:

Mary Skeete & James Holmes 16/10/1825 Norwich St Peter Hungate

As I say, if you let me have the parishes you know, I can look again

Hi, i am looking for a marriage between Mark Skeet and Mary Ann ? they had children about 1826-1828 ( that I know of) so I reckon they married about 1824ish.
Census show that Mary was born abt 1807 .

Any help would be really great !!!!!!!!!!

Regards
Karen

There are hundreds of Browns/Brownes on the CD, a fair few Richards, however, there is only one married to a Maria, but this is not it as it was on 26/9/1808 (Maria Sparkhall in Ashmanhaugh).

Your Maria would only have been 15 years in 1820 if she was born C1805.

Do you have any particular parishes in Norfolk for which Richard Browne relates.

I will look for any siblings etc.

Sorry but David Cullum and Amy Last are not covered in the 25 suffolk parishes on my CD....must be another parish.

Should you have any of the family crossing over to Norfolk and married between 1801 & 1837, please get back to me.

Best wishes
Dee

Hi Dee,

Do you have a Norfolk marriage of John Drake and Priscilla Mendell/Mendall please?

Would have thought it would be pre-1837, if so, any info gratefully received.

Sorry there are no Ketteridge/Kitteridge or Kittridge, I also tried Keteridge/Kiteridge/Kitridge. I searched for both males and females and there are none on the CD I'm afraid.

Sorry I couldn't help. Good luck with your research.

My CD only covers marriages 1801-1837 and gives bride, bridegroom, date and parish, unfortunately, you would have to look at the parish record for any parents names. These are the MALE marriages for Hunt in Norwich:

Alfed (this is how it is transcribed, but it is probably Alfred) Hunt & Mary Stimson 8/1/1833 Norwich St Mary Coslany

David Powell Hunt & Elizabeth Palmer 10/11/1808 Norwich St George Colgate

Edward Hunt & Elizabeth Land 4/1/1824 Norwich St Gregory

George Hunt & Maria Boyce 29/3/1831 Norwich St Andrew

Gilbert Hunt & Ann Groom 12/10/1819 Norwich St Michael at Plea

James Hunt & Lucy Parish 4/6/1826 Norwich St Peter Southgate

James Hunt & Elizabeth Atkins 19/6/1826 Norwich St Paul

James Hunt & Sarah Cooke 2/4/1837 Norwich St Martin at Palace

John Hunt & Sarah Trory 3/9/1809 Norwich St Andrew

John Hunt & Susanna Elizabeth Copeman 9/11/1820 Norwich ST Giles

Samuel Hunt & Mary Ann Haylett 22/5/1808 Norwich st Clement

Samuel Hunt & Matilda Butler 23/12/1810 Norwich St Helen

Samuel Valentine Hunt & Joanna Jones Barnes 1/2/1828 Norwich St Michael at Plea

Thomas Hunt & Mary Hastings 30/10/1817 Norwich St George Colegate

William Hunt & Elizabeth Lawrence 20/12/1818 Norwich St James

William Hunt & Mary Ann Palmer 13/9/1834 Norwich St James

Hope these prove successful!

Regards
Dee
