Jan Rodgers HARRISON I am looking for any information on my G.Grandfather James/Arthur born about1860/1870. I'm not sure where his family came from maybe London as in later years he lived in the East End of London, an area called Custom House. He lived in Varley Road. I think his wife may have been Sarah (told she mayhave been French???) James had brothers and sister:Charlotte,Matilda,Jack/John, not sure of any others. His Children that I know of Albert, Emma, Louise, Ada,William, Charles(Later went to Australia),Violet,Henry (my Grandfather D.O.B 1911). My Gr.Grandfather ran pubs in the Eastend,The Steps, The Freemasons Arms and one other also a Tobacconist/sweetshop. He was friends with a Boxer? named Peddler Palmer. His parents/family had something to do with the Blue Circle Cement. Thanks to any Help

Jan,
My name is Jacqueline Harrison, I am the daughter of Albert William Harrison and my paternal grandfather was William Robert Harrison. My mother, Doris Grace, is still alive but doesn't know very much about my father's family. However, she does seem to think that they originated in the East End of London. If you think there may be some sort of connection I would be quite happy to give you access to my tree.
Kind regards
Jacqui
