Trying to find Johnson

I am trying to find out about my grandfather George Henry Johnson. He was married to Ellen Johnson (nee Billington - b 1897) when she died during the birth of my father George Johnson on 04/10/1926. At the time of the birth, my grandparents were living at no 6 Bird Street, Ardwick, Manchester. I know my father had some kind of bust up with his family, as I have only one vague memory of meeting my grandparents, for some reason I think it was in the Baguley region of Wythenshaw in one of the pre-fab houses there tho in truth it may not have been them and that may not have been the area. My father married my mother Frances Joyce Corser in 1948, and I was born in 1964. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
