Hi! Desperately trying to find information on my great-grandfather's family, he was the youngest of 8 children born to James Ward (Recruiting Sergeant, Royal Marines) Born abt 1865 Co Tyrone, Ireland. His wife was Hettie Hodgess, b abt 1868 Sampford Spiney, Devon their children's details are as follows: Hettie Margaret Ward b1889 Annie Catherine H Ward b 1890 Aileen Winifred Ward b 1890 Elsie Lilian Ward b 1893 Florence Christina B Ward b 1895 Francis James V Ward b1897 Charles Hector John Ward b 11/02/1900 Edinburgh Percival Cecil Gordon Ward b 19/06/1905 Scullcoates Percival is my g-grandfather, he married Elizabeth Normand 18/04/1930 in Glasgow. They had one son, Gordon James born 02/10/1935 in Govan, Glasgow. Percival died on 11/02/1947 in Northamptonshire when my granda was 11 years old, they moved back to Glasgow shortly after. My granda sadly passed on 21/12/2005 and I would love to honour his memory by finding family of his father's siblings. Any help would be gratefully received xxDxx |
