Im trying to find any information on my grandmothers brothers and sister. My Nan, Edith [Betty] Baker was born in 1928 in County Durham. she was the daughter of Richard Baker and Emily Liddell. Edith married Desmond Clifton, and I believe she died in 2001, although im not 100% sure. [I never knew her due to my parents divorce] My mum told me she knew that she had some brothers and a sister. I have looked this up and found the following: Richard - 1926 Denis - 1928 Kenneth (Kenny) - 1934, and I think he died 2003 in Durham. and a sister Rita - 1940 who I think married a James C. Oman (known as Jimmy) in 1960. i also found they had a son called Colin, and a son called Steven, born 1964 and 1962. All were born in or around Stockton, County Durham. If anyone knows these names, please get in touch. I didnt know anyone from my dads side of the family, and being 16 years old, I wouldnt remember them. Thank you if you can help. Amanda |
