hi, i am trying to trace relations of my late mother dorothy joan lee born 1922 and placed in barnardos home stepney causeway east london on 12.06.1928, it was never clear if her name was dorothy joan or joan dorothy, also her date of birth could have been 11.02.1920, her name could have been sutton as at first when mrs lee took her to barnardos she claimed to have fostered her, but later claimed to be her mother, mrs lee had a son charles who was in the guards, her husband also was in the armed forces, she also had a son fred, any information would be much appreiciated, regards pam knight |
