Trying to find out more about the above-named, my Grandfather's half brother. Joseph's parents were Ralph Thompson and Rachael Murray. Joseph was a commercial traveller and lived for some time in the Glasgow area. In later years he moved south to live with his daughter Jenny (married surname unknown) in Newport. They then moved to Slough and the last I know is that in 1949 he was in Upton Hospital, Haugh, Bucks. I'd be grateful for any info.

Update : I've probably mistranscribed the address of the hospital from the last letter Joseph sent - for Haugh read Slough.
