if joseph was 52when he died then that 1904 birth i found looks good!!!

I suppose it could be possible. Maybe they never had his birth certificate because it was with his family in blackburn and they never went to blackburn to see them.

I've found a death for

Florence May Leese dob 14/02/1908 but she died in Stoke/T. in June qtr 1971.

Any good?

Yes she was about 18 ish so i think the death is probably right. Also i remember her saying that he was only about 50 ish when he died of a heart attack.

I dont know anything really about her second husband and im not sure martin was his registered name. Martin was just what the children called him.

yes thats all right wayne except the birth of joseph because someone earlier posted his death in 1948 age 52 so that would mean he was born 1896.
