The birth certificates should give her details:

James O Evans Born June 1866 South Stoneham Volume 2c page 50.

Susannah Evans Born Dec 1845 Greenwich Volume 5 page 258.

Unfortunately Jane Elizabeth Evans born Sep 1856 Portsea Volume 2b page [5_]72 is no help.

Ellen Evans c1860 Portsea birth certificate is also no help.

Note IGI does have a Mary Ann Whitehead born 13 DEC 1826 Christening: 07 JAN 1827 Saint Mary Magdalene, Woolwich parents William Whitehead & Jane.

The nearest Mary Ann Morris was born 19 OCT 1828 Christening: 09 NOV 1828 Saint Mary Magdalene, Woolwich parents James & Sarah.

Mary Ann may have been a little too young to be married in 1842, 1845 sounds more reasonable.

i am trying to find the surname of the wife of John W Evans born in woolwich c1824. i know her first names were Mary A and they had 3 children ,Susannah born c1846 in woolwich,Jane E born c1856 in portsea and James O born c1867 in southampton if anyone can help please let me know
