Trying to find descendents of Robert Taylor - originated at Pudding Lane Hattersley/Godley in the 1850s. By 1870s thry were in Ashton under lyne at Grosvenor Street/ Burlington Street and Dean Street - Lydia, George Bateman, Percy Albert and Elizabeth Ann. My mother had a cousin Kathleen ( about 1908) - believe some family remained in Hyde, others moved south and some went to Marple. Percy stayed in Ashton. A Robert married a Mary Ann Rhodes around 1901 - Mary's father David lived in Ashton/Hyde. |
