Patrick doesn't say whereabouts in Ireland on the 1901 census and not on the 1891 where I think I found him living as a lodger but married in Middlesborough, think Annie was in the Workhouse...probably as a patient. I have this same problem with some of my Irish ancestors and there's just nothing you can do.

Annie was 19 yrs of age & Patrick was 26 yrs of age
When thy Married in the year 1888.

your only hope is if Patrick or his father appear on a census and say which part of Ireland they come from. I will have a look for you but need to know Patrick and Annies ages.

How can i find out what part of Ireland my Great-Grand-dad came
from, all i know of him ...his name was Lawrence Farrell and a
Farmer, this info is on a Marriage Cert.
The Marriage was between my Grand-Father Patrick Farrell and
Annie Callaghan the year 1888 the place Middlesbrough Yorks..
Is there any kind person out there who can help.
