Hello does anyone know where or how i can find out what happened to my aunt Violet. I have very little info to go on but here goes. I'll tell you what ive got and then see if im sailing without a paddle lol..

Violet davies was i think born in birmingham in 1920 . siblings george william davies 1919 and samuel davies 1916.

violet apparently married an american G i soldier and moved to New york. I would love to trace her/family and see if she is still alive.
Apparently Violet and george were orphaned. I dont know at what age though. xXx any advice would be gratefully appreciated xxx

it seems now from birth records that violet was born in 1921 and her middle name was irene..

hi, if she married and moved to new york, you should look on ancestry.co.uk, i am now intouch with a relative myself, that emigrated to america in 1879.it is an american site, it is a very good one.good luck and all the best sharon.

Thankyou Sharon xXx I had some help off a lady on here and she found me an address for who might be my Aunt. Fingers crossed something will turn up. I posted the letter .. errrrrmm tuesday lol.. Brain ache ;o) im still half asleep .. Good Luck to you too chicka. This stuff is fun isnt it xxx
