Hi Peter,

Just wondered if you knew that Violet May Scott, nee Deckman's mother and father originated from the Netherlands. Hy C. Deckman was born there in c.1850 and his wife in c.1857.

Also living with them in 1891 was Eliz De Graff, aged 69 and born in the Netherlands. She is listed as 'mother'.

Don't know anything after 1901 though.

Best wishes, Fred

Peter

I am trying to find some information about my Great Aunt Violet May Scott nee Deckman

She was born in Poplar in 1890, I think February of that year.

On 12/06/1919 she married Cecil Charles Scott at St.Augustine's Pimlico and I think they had a son called Peter.

I think Peter was born on 20/9/1920 and may have died in 2002 in Dorset aged 81.

I am trying to find out when my Great Aunt Died as a lot of mystery and myth surrounds her death.

I would be grateful for any information about her and any of her relatives from her marriage

My e-mail address is [email protected]

Many thanks

Peter.
