A friend of mine is trying to find out where her father came from and if there are any relatives of his around. He was Walter Edward Scott c.1907 and he married an Edith Skelton. He died in a Japanese Concentration Camp in 1944 when my friend was about 6 and she does not know where he was born, if he has any siblings, who his parents were or where her parents were married. There may be some connection to Derbyshire or Yorkshire. Her mother lived in Salford after the war. There were two other children. |
