I am looking for information about Beatrice Shaw, born 1901 in Bolsterstone/Bradfield area of South Yorkshire. She was my husband's Grandma, her parents were called Sidney and Agnes (nee Oldfield) and she had at least one brother, but could be 2 or 3. We believe they were her half brothers as we've been told that Agnes died when Beatrice was small, and Sidney married again. One of the brothers has the name Nathaniel, (poss after their grandfather). They came to live in the Linthwaite area of Huddersfield, where Beatrice met her husband Elvy Sykes. If any of this rings a bell then please get in touch as we seem to have hit a brick wall with these brothers, and would love more info on them. |
