My mother in law had an uncle Frederick Moore - born c.1891 in Salford - who she thinks went to live in Australia. When she was a child she remembers him visiting her family in Salford and he was wearing a uniform. He must have had decendants. Are there any out there. He had sisters Ethel and Frances and a brother Harold. His parents were Frederick and Eliza.

Hi John - thank you for replying but I am afraid I do not know which part of Australia it was.
