I have a James Cooper from Norfolk in my family tree in the 1851 Census he is 9yrs old. He is living with the Burton family and it says he is a grandson In Law.

Can any one find out who was his mother and where he is in other Census records and what his occupation was as I have come to a dead end.

Hi Ray,

I would imagine you have cracked your problem with James Cooper by now as I see your original posting was in 2007.

If you haven't I have the answer to your questions.

Best regards,

Heather

Mervyn, you can also try putting the names you are researching into the Search Trees box above to see if anyone else on this site has them in their tree. If you find a connection, you can contact the tree owner.

It may also be helpful for you to start your own thread as there are many people willing to help you in your research. Take a look at the 2nd message on the Community Trying to Find board for further info. Cx
