Find Ancestors

Trying to find info regarding Thomas Morris born in Barnet,Herts c1842.In 1861 he married Eliza Slater (b.7/08/1839 in Bethnal Green) ,the marriage certificate mentioned his father as Samuel Barber Morris.Have been unable to pinpoint the birth of Thomas,137 Thomas Morrises born between 1841-1842.Also unable to find his father Samuel Barber Morris but did find a Samuel Baker Morris although unable to tie the 2 together.
Thomas was living in Clerkenwell,London in 1871 with wife and 4 children Alice (8),Alfred(6),Ellen(3),and Annie?(3 months)
Anyone help

But I looked at the image (that was a pain; Ancestry directed me first to the page for Adam Morris and I guessed my way back and forth to the right page) ... it's district:Brentford, vol:3, and I would guess page:107, but that's a complete guess.

Mystery may at last be solved of Thomas Morris c1842, Barnet - fingers crossed. Took sometime coming back to Tom, after having given up. Since starting again last week have found a few things.

Looking in to his offspring I found his daughter Alice Rebecca Morris married a Tom Street in 1887 and her father was deceased.

Using 1887 as a starting date for death of Thomas I found a Probate (admin) in 1887 for Thomas George Barber Morris of Vicarage Rd, Tottenham, his widow Eliza.
Then found his widow's Probate (admin), same address in Tottenham 1887, and administered by daughter Alice Rebbeca Street and Tom Street.

Thomas George Barber b. q4 1842 Barnet, seems that was his birth name and was later known as Thomas Morris, but died as Thomas George Barber Morris. Also an Eliza Barber born q3 1841, Barnet.

Digging out the birth of Rowland Barber Morris from Brentford (the one that you suggested), his mother's name was Rebecca Morris (no father). So looking for Rebecca Morris in Brentford on census, I have found her as 'Rebeca' Morris in Brentford Union Workhouse in 1851 with Thomas Morris c1843 of Hadley, Herts. Hadley is very near to Barnet. Also Rebecca is middle name of Thomas' daughter Alice.

It all seems to tie in together now, just waiting for Thomas George Barber's birth cert.
