BJ, or Stan, My name is Brenda Spencer, and I am working on the Hill line from Co. Carlow that joins with the Tennant line. Ann Hill and Thomas Tennant came to Canada, and also Ann Hill's brother Thomas Hill and his wife Ann Anslow, both buried in the Tennant cemetery in Lanark. I am decended from this line. On the tomestone it said Co. Wexford, so not sure if that is the Anslow line or the Hill. Was wondering if you knew which area the Hill's were from in particular. Also have the James, Goulds, Thornes, and a few Tennants woven in our line. Can you be of any help? I know that your family tree has already been of great help to us, and that it lists Thomas and Ann's parents as George and Elizabeth, but not specific as to where they originate. Thanks Brenda Spencer |
