I presume, then, that the marriage that Sophie found in Jun Q 1901 is them. It was in Plomesgate and on the 1901 census there's this Harriet Jay in Plomesgate:

Grandad had a farm but i dont know where when they lost it they moved to london Berna street stepney

Grandad married Harriet Jay But dont know where or what year Harriet was 94 when she died and Arthur was 88 can any one help please

I know for definate that my dad Robert was born in Poplar east London England and his mothers maidon name i believe is Jay
